What Happened When BTA Stayed In An Ibis Styles Property?

Julie Cooper
A meeting with University College in Birmingham meant I needed an overnight in the city and the Ibis Styles Birmingham Centre was the perfect location for my stay.

Just a 15 minute walk or a short taxi ride from Birmingham New Street where I was greeted by friendly staff.  The check-in was quick and efficient and, as a woman travelling alone,  I was pleased to note that the receptionist did not say my room number aloud - it's surprising how many do!

My room was clean & functional with a king size bed complete with a mini chomp bar on the pillow - how did  they know it's my favourite?  The shower room was spotlessly clean and the layout meant that the door to the shower room also formed the door to the toilet.

Tea & Coffee was provided in the room but I chose to help myself to a hot chocolate from the complimentary machine in reception before enjoying a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed.  Breakfast was a self-service buffet including toast, cereal, yoghurts, fruit, pastries and, of course, Bacon, eggs, mushrooms & beans along with tea, coffee & juices.

All in all, a great location and fantastic value which I would use again.
