#BTAupdate: Over the last few days, we’ve had the opportunity to speak with various Government Departments including the Dft, the FCO and the Department of Industry. This is a huge step forwards in getting business travel recognised and the industry supported in the longer term.

For now, please relax and rest up over the long weekend. We hope September brings changes in the fortune of the industry and the country.

#BTAupdate: This week we saw an encouraging attendance at the first sessions of #BTACares. We urge you to continue forwarding the campaign on to those who are in need of a helping hand. Next week, we hope to progress our talks with the Government on the transparency around quarantine introductions. For now, please rest up over the weekend and we’ll see you next week.

BTA Update 18
BTA Video Update 18

This week we launched #BTACares to extend our support as a community to those who have lost or are about to lose their roles within this industry.

We are currently in talks with the Government, asking them for more transparency regarding the quarantine decision making process, along with working hard on what the future of our industry will look like and the support needed.

Please keep an eye on our social channels for news as it comes through and please try to relax and enjoy the sunny weather this weekend and we’ll see everyone back here next week.

BTA Update 17
BTA Video Update 17

#BTAupdate: In our now fortnightly update, the BTA continues the fight to get extended support for the industry. We are asking the Government to consider a full or temporary APD ban as a means to stimulate the industry.

Over the coming weeks, the BTA will be launching #BTACares, to help those who are out of work to find roles within the industry and beyond.

Please continue to stay safe, and watch this space.
