Through the strategic development and objectives of the BTA to promote the business travel sector as a driver for economic growth, industry partners gain access alongside members, to share a considerable voice with all levels of government to collectively improve the business travel experience. 

The BTA strives to improve products and services for the business traveller, to remove barriers for trade for all businesses and to encourage and promote entrepreneurs to focus on the sector . We lobby government on all issues that impact our industry and the business traveller, including taxation, sustainability, infra structure, industry affairs, regulation and legislation. We ensure that local, regional and national government understand the economic value of business travel to the UK and promote business travel as an investment to develop trade and shareholder value.


The BTA provides either direct access or represents members across all industry sectors with key industry bodies and associations on all matters that impact on the business travel community.
We ensure that the right environment is created to express industry views through collaboration, discussion and debate.
