Driving Sustainable Change Together

The Planet Plan Council represents a groundbreaking initiative in the travel industry's journey towards sustainability. Unlike traditional approaches that can overwhelm organisations with sweeping changes, our council focuses on enabling progressive, manageable steps that organisations of all sizes can implement.

Our Approach

We believe that meaningful change happens through collaboration and practical action. By breaking down sustainability into five key focus areas, we provide clear pathways for members, partners and buyers to advance their environmental commitments at their own pace. Our goal is to make sustainability accessible and achievable for everyone in the travel ecosystem.

Industry-Wide Collaboration

We have engaged industry professionals from across the BTA cohort to work alongside our workgroup leaders. These representatives come from all aspects of the business travel community, ensuring diverse perspectives and comprehensive solutions. The Planet Plan Council will provide regular feedback and updates to the BTA community, maintaining transparency and shared progress in our sustainability journey.
